ABOUT KARIKAAS - The home of fine cheese and dairy products

In March 1984 Karin and Rients Rypma moved to New Zealand from the Netherlands and established a small factory in Loburn, North Canterbury, because the water was so clean and uncontaminated. The name Karikaas comes from Karin and Rients, and the Dutch word for cheese, kaas.

In January 2004 Karin and Rients sold. Diana and Alan have been there ever since, raised their family on the Loburn premises, and have supported and been supported by the Loburn community. "It's a beautiful place to be, wonderful for family, staff and customers"

The legacy of fine cheese and dairy products begun by Karin and Rients continues to today. Supplying quality safe natural products at affordable prices.
